Our Comprehensive Approach

Before you choose to work with us, you should be comfortable with our search and selection process. We utilize the following in-depth and comprehensive process as we conduct each search:

Initial CV/Resume Review

You don’t need a CV or resume to make a career change. Many experienced Dentists have not updated their CVs in years, and that’s okay.

However, if you’ve put together a CV or resume, we will be happy to give you some candid feedback about how it compares with the hundreds of CVs/resumes we see each month.

Confidential Interview

  • We will discuss where you have been, as well as where you want to go professionally.
  • We will exchange information about current job openings that match your professional history and goals.
  • We will discuss what to expect when changing jobs.
  • We will develop a profile of your ideal practice.
  • We will find out who you do not want to work with.
    • Sanctions, malpractice claims, lawsuits, financial issues and terminations happen. Help us to help you by giving us an accurate description of the situation so we can present it in the best possible light. If you don’t tell us about it, we can’t help you. It will probably cost you the position when it surfaces.

Practice Interviews

  • Once we determine that we have a client practice that matches your criteria, we will present you for consideration. You will get a call directly from the practice to set up a phone or face-to-face interview.
  • We can share valuable insight with you about the practice and key individuals you will speak with or meet.

Interview Analysis

  • We will provide post-interview discussion on how closely the prospective practice/job opportunity lines up with your professional objectives.
  • You will receive pertinent feedback from the company so you’ll know where you stand in the process.
  • We will offer you scheduling and preparation for subsequent interviews, as necessary.
  • We will discuss acceptable salary ranges and start dates.
  • As the possibility of an offer draws nearer, we’ll discuss your strategy for giving notice, particularly when faced with pressure to stay with your current practice.

Offer Coordination / Start Date Confirmation

  • We will assist you in coordinating your job offer and acceptance.

Resignation and Counter Offer Consultation

  • We will remain close-by as you manage your resignation, providing assistance as needed.
