I am relocating to Virginia from Colorado. During my search of prospective positions, I came upon an advertisement placed by ETS Dental. I submitted my resume to LaVerne and promptly received a call from her regarding the available position and the knowledge and skill-set that were needed for this position. I had not had recent experience with the software the dental office was using, and even though LaVerne presented me to the office, she was honest in the fact that my lack of software experience could be a hindrance. From this feedback, I took it upon myself to visit the webpage for the particular software and learn as much as I could. I also tried to get some "hands-on" experience with a local dentist who was using the same software.
LaVerne presented my resume and skills to the dental office again, stressing that I had taken it upon myself to fill in my lack of software knowledge that was a requirement. Due to LaVerne’s attentiveness of my motivation, I was offered an interview–and the position. LaVerne was a great asset in helping me find the most wonderful job with an awesome work team. She was very thorough about the job opportunity and made me feel very comfortable during our phone interview. LaVerne communicated directly with the doctor about questions that were unclear to me during my interview with the doctor.
